The Bee-Bots are now a regular part of KL’s class activities.
1.
Literacy Groups. They have been helping the kids learn their sight words and there is now a Beat The Clock game when groups race each other to program the BBs to hit as many words as possible in the ten minute rotation. Each student has to write their sw and plan the program for the next, before their next turn. It’s fun.
2.
HSIE. We have been studying the local area and have made several 3D maps so the BB can be programed to visit the local coffee shop for hot chips and a milkshake, or go to see the local fire engine, park, post office and so on.
3.
Maths. Our teddy trolleys fit perfectly behind the BBs to travel over the bridge to take 7 away from 20 and so on.
They are a hit

Fantastic ideas, MH Beebots also like to pull teddies in their carriages. Did you make a bridge? MH
